Danath Trollbane

Danath Trollbane crossed with the Sons of Lothar and fought the Horde of Draenor beside Turalyon, Khadgar, Kurdran, and Alleria. When Ner’zhul broke the world, Danath was among those who stayed with the wreck and were eventually found. Turalyon and Alleria were the ones the rift took. The statues in Stormwind did not distinguish them at first. The later years did.

He is here because the expedition was not a couple and a mage. It was an Alliance army with more than one captain, and Danath is the captain whose survival makes Turalyon’s absence specific. The Sons were not all lost. Two of them were lost in a different direction.

Bayard’s drawing puts Danath at the right of the expedition, falcon on the staff, with Alleria and Turalyon beside him. Peter Lee’s Honor Hold is the ground they held, and did not all leave. Danath’s own rule of the survivors is outside the few pages this site gives any one friend.

Turalyon and Alleria stand on a broken parapet above a red wasteland, looking toward a fortress under a cracked sky.
