Alleria Windrunner
Alleria was ranger-captain of Quel’Thalas when the Second War put her beside Lothar’s army. Grief for her people, and a hunter’s concentration on the Horde, sat between her and the young paladin for a long time. The attachment still became the fact of his private life. She went through the Dark Portal with him. She left their son with Vereesa. She fell through the same rift.
In the Army of the Light she took up the Void, and Xe’ra answered by imprisoning her. Turalyon stayed the naaru’s champion and wanted her released. Both of those are in the audio drama. After Argus they returned to Azeroth as a pair that could share a war and still fail to share a tent. A wedding was prepared, in the novel before Midnight, and did not take place. They had never formally married.
The portrait on this page is the one he drew. Glenn Rane’s key art is the pair the Legion war made of them. The last published scene puts her in the Darkwell with him.
